It has been announced to relax the CSR provision of the Companies Act, 2013 for companies to participate under this campaign. Under this Act, profit making companies are required to spend at least two per cent of their average net profit for three years on CSR activities.
The central government has made arrangements for the production of three types of flags and these will be available in post offices and people will be able to buy the tricolor online as well.
Within a short span of last 10 days, more than 1 crore national flags have been sold to citizens across the country through post offices as well as online.
